FSP window

The most prominent feature of the FSP window – differentiating it from other windows – is the fact that the hinges are located on its lower edge. The FSP window functions as a smoke ventilation unit and resembles a reversed top hung window. In a fully integrated and innovative design, after a smoke sensor sends a signal to the ventilation system control unit, two electric motors automatically open the window. When the system is activated, the opened sash protects the ventilation opening in the roof from any adverse effects due to lateral winds. The window must be installed so that all edges are located below level of the roof ridge. Everyday room ventilation is possible with the FSP window by manual control of the motors as well. These roof window types, acting as a ventilation flaps, are most commonly installed in stairways.
