Flashings for deck mounted skylights FX, FV, FVE

Description

Step flashing is made from powder-coated aluminum. It is used with flat roofing material up to 3/8 inch, such as shingles plain-tile, double-lap roofing, slates or tar boards.

 

EL flashing is suitable for skylights installed with flat roofing materials such as shingles, plain-tile, double-lap roofing and slates. The side elements of the flashing are laid alternately with the roofing material (maximum roofing material thickness 5/16’’). Bottom section of the flashing isequipped with a butyl strip to protect against wind driven rain in stormy conditions.

EL – flashing for use with FX, FV, FVE, FVS deck skylight only.

 

EL-T Thermo, ELA-T Thermo flashing are new insulated flashings that combine especially well with an insulated roof and in cold regions that fall below zero degrees celcius. These flashings help eliminate “cool areas” that sometimes occur between roof deck and skylight causing condensation on the interior drywall. The underside of the Thermo flashing has flexible insulating material, creating a barrier by tightly sealing the skylight frame.

FAKRO’s Thermo flashing works well in combination with insulated roofs and is especially recommended in cold regions.

Description

High Profile flashing is for use with high-profiled corrugated roofing materials such as tiles or corrugated metal sheets from 1 ½ to 3 ½ inches.

 

EH-A

The flashing for profiled and high-profiled corrugated materials joins the skylight with roofing materials such as tiles or corrugated metal sheets. A wider and longer lower section allows a tighter joint with the high profiled roofing material (the height of the profile 1 1/4 “to 3 1/2”). A butyl strip holds down the bottom section of flashing.

 

EH-A – flashing for use with FX, FV, FVE, FVS deck mounted skylight only.

EH-AT Thermo and EH/A-AT Thermo flashings are also new insulated flashings. The purpose of insulated flashing is reduce thermal bridges and better insulate the skylight frame and roof decking. The underside of the Thermo flashing has flexible insulating material, creating a barrier by tightly sealing the skylight frame. FAKRO’s Thermo flashing works well in combination with insulated roofs and is especially recommended in cold regions where temperatures fall below zero degrees celcius.
